Over 80 people attended Community Living Australia’s (CLA) South Australian Living Artists (SALA) exhibition in Bridgewater on Friday evening.

The not-for-profit organisation opened the ‘Together We Achieve’ exhibition made up of over 40 pieces of art from over 20 artists living with disability across the state, including from the Murraylands.

CLA Chief Executive Officer Mark Kulinski described the exhibition as a collaborative showcase of artwork by artists living with disability.

Member of the Legislative Council Kelly Vincent officially opened the exhibition.

Mr Kulinski said the ‘Together We Achieve’ title was chosen as the exhibition celebrates the many talents and contributions of people with all types of ability.

“This is why we decided to host the exhibition – to celebrate the artistic talents of people living with disability, to provide them with an opportunity to build community connections and to provide an opportunity to be valued and contributing citizens.”
