He is only visible from the waist up ad is wearing a dark purple business shirt and navy trousers. He has short brown hair and a long bushy beard. He is looking to the left, in the direction of Ms Vincent, and speaking. In the background of the photograph is the courtyard of Parliament House. The light grey granite wall of the building is broken up by three small, evenly spaced windows with brown painted wooden frames. To the left of the picture is large raised garden bed containing a purple flowering plant and a large palm tree, the trunk of which extends far beyond the top of the photograph. In front of the raise garden bed sits Joanne Blesing in her red powered wheelchair.
