WHAT: National Day of Action: NDIS – Make It Real 2012.
WHO: Dignity for Disability MLC Kelly Vincent, disability advocates and federal politicians.
WHEN: 11:40am, Monday April 30. Ms Vincent will speak at approximately 12noon.
WHERE: Hindmarsh Square, Adelaide
WHY: The time for people with disabilities to have a universal system of support has come. Introduction of a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has been flagged but the funding is yet to be allocated. This National Day of Action is to demonstrate to governments nation-wide that there is widespread community support.
