d4d challenge other parties to corflute-free election campaign

23/12/2013

Dignity for Disability MLC Kelly Vincent today announced that the party will have a corflute-free state election campaign for 2014.

“Dignity for Disability understands that the community is tired of having their Stobie poles and fences littered with posters of candidates,” says Kelly Vincent.

“They’re a visual blight, distracting to drivers, and an environmental disaster.

“Dignity for Disability has a big job to do and we want to get on with it – we’d prefer to spend our very modest campaign budget on discussing our ideas and policies with the electorate.

“We also have both Lower and Upper House candidates that we will present to the community as an alternative to the major parties.

“We challenge other political parties to commit to the same – no wasteful, unwanted candidate posters for election 2014,” concluded Ms Vincent.
