NDIS – it’s time to make it real for South Australians
WHAT: Dignity for Disability MLC Kelly Vincent has invited John Della Bosca to South Australia to brief MPs and the disability sector on the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). John will be briefing state MPs on the NDIS, and will give a second briefing for disability service providers and advocates later in the afternoon.

3-4pm DIRC – Briefing of disability service providers and advocates
WHERE: MP briefing – Plaza Room, Parliament House (east of the Balcony Room)
Disability sector briefing – Disability Information Resource Centre (DIRC), 195 Gilles St, Adelaide.
WHY: The Federal Government has announced the launch of an NDIS, but they are yet to confirm where launch sites will be located. South Australians need to continue campaigning for the state to be a launch site for the NDIS, and for increased funding to the disability sector. Kelly Vincent is continuing the fight to see adequate state and federal investment in disability services to ensure a well-designed, effective NDIS.
