About the person who wrote the survey
My name is Kelly Vincent, I work for the Dignity for Disability Party in the South Australian Parliament. I am working on a new law to get better standards for audio description and captions in cinemas, to make sure more Deaf people and people with disabilities can go to the movies.I need your ideas about how to make things better. I have put together this survey to help me get your ideas.

Who should fill out this survey?
These questions are mostly for Deaf people, and people who are blind or have low vision, but if you have another kind of disability and need a different kind of help to go to the cinema and watch a movies, you can fill out the survey too – just type your answers in the boxes marked “something else” if you don’t see an answer that describes you on the list, or if you would like to add more information.
Because this survey is about changing the law in South Australia, please ONLY FILL OUT THIS SURVEY IF YOU LIVE IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA, OR THE RELEVANT ORGANISATION YOU WORK WITH IS BASED IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA.
Who can see the information I give in my answer? What about my privacy?
Your privacy is important and we will not share your personal answers with anyone else. ONLY Kelly Vincent and the staff in her office can see your answers. At the end of the survey, if you want you can give us your contact details so we can keep in touch about the issue and any changes, but you don’t have to give us any contact information if you don’t want to. You can even keep your name a secret. It is completely up to you how to answer this survey – you don’t have to do it all if you don’t want to!
