Dignity for Disability Leader, Kelly Vincent, today announced seven Lower House candidates for State Election 2014.

“Each of our candidates has been selected because of their unique personal experiences, as well as their shared, strong commitment to equality and just economics.

“It is my absolute pleasure to launch Dignity for Disability’s Lower House candidate team for 2014,” says Kelly Vincent.

“I am extremely proud of the work that Dignity for Disability continues to do – fighting for a stronger, fairer South Australia for all. Dignity for Disability represent a fresh start for SA.

“I am confident that this impressive line-up of candidates offers the perfect team to carry on that very important work.

“Joining our Upper House candidate team of three, these seven candidates are united to support Esther Simbi’s campaign to be elected to Parliament as the second Dignity for Disability MP,” said Ms Vincent.

The Lower House candidates are:

Adelaide – Anna Tree, 37, of Adelaide.
Elder – Nick Schumi, 28 of Oaklands Park.
Dunstan – Rick Neagle, 51 of Kensington Park.
Heysen – Amy Park, 19, of Crafers.
Little Para – Scott Whelan, 41, of Elizabeth Grove.
Unley – Joanne Blesing, 47, of Eastwood.
Waite – Cathi Tucker, 53, of Panorama.
